Jean Fullerton is a British historical fiction author born into a large East End family, raised in the densely populated streets surrounding the Tower of London. With family roots by the London docks dating back to the 1830s, her novels are set in and around East London and known for their sense of place, strong community focus, and historical authenticity. She has been shortlisted for and won several awards, teaches writing workshops, and speaks internationally as a guest cruise lecturer. Fullerton lives in the UK with her husband, a Church of England minister, and has three grown-up daughters.
