Red God will be the seventh book in the Red Rising Saga and conclusion to the series.

The book was announced by Pierce Brown during San Diego Comic-Con on July 22, 2022.

In a January 2025 interview, Pierce Brown estimated an early 2026 to a summer 2026 release date for Red God.

He also said it would be the longest book in the series with the possibility that the book is split into two separate novels.
