When Samantha Parker and her very big, very hairy, very drooly dog Poppy find themselves thrown out into the cold – literally – Samantha turns to the one person she’s always been able to count on: her best friend, Jace. Jace is a pillar of stability in her life. He also really doesn’t like dogs in the house, but she knows he won’t leave her out in the Oregon winter to freeze, even if Sam is the chaos to Jace’s order and control.
