Brandon Winn Sanderson (born December 19, 1975) is an American author celebrated for his sweeping high fantasy, science fiction, and young adult works. He is best known for the Cosmere universe, especially the Mistborn series and The Stormlight Archive, and for completing Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time saga. Outside the Cosmere, he has penned the Reckoners, Skyward, and Alcatraz series, as well as graphic novels like White Sand and Dark One.
