The world was burning…
…and the oceans were next.
Now the sea would decide everything.

On Adak Island, a handful of U.S. Marines prepared to make their last stand.

Twenty Tomahawk missiles were already in the air—fired on a desperate gamble to degrade an enemy landing before the beaches were overrun. If the strike failed, Gunnery Sergeant JT Ragans and his Marines would be fighting a battle they were never meant to survive.

Across Europe and the Arctic, the war was spreading fast. Northern sea lanes were under threat. Finland stood in the path of advancing armies. The Baltics teetered on the edge.

But the next decisive clash would not come in Europe.
It would come in the South China Sea.

As a massive Chinese invasion force sailed toward the Philippine island of Palawan, control of Asia’s shipping lanes, and the future balance of the Indo-Pacific, hung in the balance.

Waiting beneath contested waters was the U.S. Navy’s newest Virginia-class submarine, the USS Tang. Supported by a new generation of unmanned strike vessels and autonomous hunter-killers, the Tang had one mission—stop the invasion before it reached the beaches.

If she failed, the South China Sea would fall—and the war might follow.

From the frozen edge of Alaska to the depths of the Pacific, The Palawan Gambit delivers the explosive fourth installment of the A World on Fire series—where survival is uncertain, alliances are tested, and one submarine’s fight could decide the fate of a century.

Grab your copy today—and brace for the coldest fight yet.
