When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

When Detective Roy ‘Hicksy’ Hicks has to get out of London fast, he heads to Brighton.

He hopes a few days at his sister’s will give him plenty of peace and quiet to get his head straight.

But when his sixteen-year-old niece sends a desperate message — I’m scared. Come and get me. — Hicksy knows this isn’t going to be a holiday.

Now he’s hunting for a missing girl in a city he barely knows, with no warrant card, no backup, and no one to trust.

All Hicksy’s got is thirty years of knowing how violent men think.

And more front than Brighton.
Screw Up is the first book in the Roy Hicks Brighton Crime Thriller series. If you like fast-paced crime fiction, lovable rogues, and plots that don’t let you breathe, you’ll love Michael Dylan’s newest series.

Perfect for fans of Robert Galbraith, Stuart MacBride, Peter Lovesey, Peter James, Simon McCleave and J.M. Dalgliesh.
