Penny Cavanagh’s wedding planning suffers a setback when her fiancé’s uncle lands in the crosshairs of a murder investigation.

Blarney Green bride-to-be Penny Cavanagh’s April wedding to Garda Detective Inspector Finn Campbell is fast approaching, she and her cousin are gearing up for tourist season at The Merry Teapot, and renovations are underway on the medieval Irish tower house she’ll share with her new husband. When a construction crew begins transforming an old barn on the property into a garage, however, they dig up the bones of Byron Shelley, a poet who disappeared a decade ago—and Penny must add solving his murder to her busy plans.

Finn’s beloved Uncle Glendon is implicated in the crime, so Finn must divorce himself from the investigation and hand the case over to a hardnosed Garda detective from Cork City. Desperate to exonerate Glendon and get married without a hitch, Penny and Finn vow to uncover the truth behind Byron Shelley’s demise . . . for better or worse.

This clever whodunit from Annie’s Attic’s Irish Tearoom Mysteries series is a must-read for fans of cozy mysteries, Irish settings, female friendships, and light romance.
